Let’s start with your household

This guided process turns the information you enter into a household Statement of Financial Condition, supplemental income and spending analysis, cash-flow analysis and financial health assessment. You can save your progress and return later.

Use current values wherever possible. If you do not know an exact amount, a reasonable estimate is better than leaving an important item out.
Statement of Financial Condition

What do you own?

Check only the accounts and property you own, then enter an approximate value. Leave every other category unchecked and blank. Unused categories do not count as missing information.

Count each amount only once. For example, if you enter the total value of an investment account, do not enter the investments inside that account again.
Statement of Financial Condition

What do you owe?

Check each obligation that applies. Enter the estimated current amount required to satisfy the obligation as of the statement date, plus the usual monthly payment and interest rate when known. Required debt payments are added automatically to the supplemental cash-flow analysis.

Supplemental Income & Expense Schedule

Where does household income come from?

Check each source that applies and enter the household’s annual gross amount for that source.

Supplemental Income & Expense Schedule

What does the household spend?

Check each category that applies and enter the average monthly amount. For irregular annual costs, use a reasonable monthly average. Do not include debt payments already entered above.

Supplemental Cash-Flow Analysis

What are you doing with the cash that remains?

Enter the amounts that apply to you. Leave other amounts blank.
